MUSIC students from across Australia have gathered in Mittagong this week to learn from Debashish Bhattacharya.

Debashish, from Bhattacharya's School of Universal Music, is guest instructor at a week-long music workshop at The Harmony Centre, Mittagong.
Music students from as far as Tasmania, Melbourne and Brisbane are taking part in the event, which runs until Friday.
Debashish is known as an Indian music " guru" - he is a successful artist, composer, teacher and performer.
According to Debashish's website (www.debashishbhattacharya.com), he is the first living creator of Indian slide guitar.
Highlights of the week-long trip will include a free recital on Thursday night at 8pm at The Harmony Centre.
Highlanders and visitors are invited to attend the concert.
