IN WHAT coach Mark Burke described as Hill Top's "best game" all season, the Highlands side kept competition leaders the Goulburn Stags to a 1-1 draw.
Goulburn took an early lead in the opening minutes on Saturday, before Tom Wardle hit back for Hill Top.
"We were strong all over the park. We were physical and we held possession," Burke said.
Both teams had opportunities in the second half to seal a win, but neither could find the back of the net.
Burke said Hill Top would now need to win all of its remaining games to finish in the top four.
Hill Top will face Bundanoon this weekend before taking on Mittagong.
"We've got the teams below us in the next three weeks so obviously we need three from three. Hopefully they'll (Hill Top) keep the confidence going," Burke said.
Bundanoon proved a tough test for Hill Top in the first half the last time the two sides met.
"They (Bundanoon) have struggled for numbers but we don't want to go in overconfident. As long as we get the win; that's our number one priority."
