ROBERTSON M enjoyed a 3-1 win over Yerrinbool on Saturday in the women's premier league.
Coach Damien Plain said the first half was the best half of football he had ever seen the team play in its 3-1 victory.
Abby Doyle scored two goals and Chloe Vincent also found the back of the net.
"We know that from now on we're only going to have tough games now that we're into the pointy end of the year," Plain said.
"It was nearly a perfect half of football.
"If they can continue to play the way they did (on Saturday) I don't know if anyone can beat them."
Plain said it was a solid team effort across the park in Saturday's match with the side passing well and working hard to keep the ball on the ground.
Robertson was up 2-0 at the break and Plain said the Bushrangers played well to restrict his team to just three goals.
The Bushrangers hit back in the second half when Robertson had a 20 minute lapse after the break.
"It took them a little while to get back into it. We've just got to be careful we don't relax again, we've got to play for the full 90 minutes," Plain said.
This weekend Robertson M will face Robertson G in a local derby in what should prove an interesting contest, according to Plain.
