POLICE are searching for a man who kicked in the door of the Bowral Hotel at about 9.30pm on July 6. Management and staff were upstairs when they heard a loud bang from downstairs.
They went downstairs to find the rear door had been kicked in and saw a male disappearing over the rear brick fence of the hotel.
Police conducted patrols of the immediate area but were unable to find the male at the time.
Police returned and viewed the damaged door and the CCTV footage which depicted a male committing the offence.
Police have taken the footage and enquiries are continuing.
Saw stolen
A SAW was stolen from a ute tray in Bowral on Sunday, July 6.
The owner parked the ute on Bundaroo Street at about 4.20pm and when he returned at 6pm he noticed that a Festo drop saw that was tied down on the back of the ute had been stolen.
Rural thefts
AG BIKES were among several items stolen from rural properties last week.
On Saturday, July 5, the owner of a property on Inverary Road, Paddys River discovered a white Suzuki DR200 ag bike and other property had been stolen from the open shed on his property.
He saw motorcycle tyre track marks leading off his property down Inverary Rd.
He contacted the manager of his other property on Bangadilly Rd, Canyonleigh and learned a Yamaha ag bike, four chains saws and a welder had been stolen from the property.
Police attended and enquiries are continuing.
