Jenny Winters' ute was selected to compete in four categories, including chicks, rural, BNS and country chicks.
It won Best BNS, Best Rural and came second in the chicks category.
"It was my first time at the Sydney Royal, I'd have loved to have won at least one category - this is a big achievement," she said.
"It was a big shock to win, competition was really stiff.
"I'm really proud, I'll definitely be going back next year," she said.
Mrs Winters' passion for her ute is obvious when you walk into her lounge room, which is filled wall to wall with trophies, ribbons and prizes from various ute shows.
Although what is hard to believe is the fact all of the trophies have been racked up in just two years.
She has been doing up her VS Holden ute for about four years, which goes by the name of Wal the Wombat Wrangler.
The ute earned its name late one night in Wingello, when it met with a wombat on the road which took out the ute's bonnet, headlights and guards. T
he collision was so bad the bull-bar even broke off.
But luckily the ute was not a write-off.
Wal's additions include clearance lights, air horns, stickers, roof console, aerials, the tub is painted out and the back window is split.
The bull-bar was specially designed in Queensland by Boomer.
"I've always liked utes, I do it for the love of it," Mrs Winters said.
"I meet a lot of people with similar interests and you get a lot of different ideas going to all the places.
"It was picked to go on Winners and Losers but John was too old to drive it (for the show) so that didn't go ahead."
In her two years of showing the ute, Jenny has won a huge range of awards, from most lights, people's choice to best themed and best in show.
Wal the Wombat Wrangler is Mrs Winters’ third ute and she said it would be her last.
"I swapped my XF ute for a VP and then swapped the VP for the VS, but I won't be parting with this one.”
