This time of year has been notorious for the increased number of vehicles on the roads, with people travelling to their holiday destinations.

However, please take a second to take a deep breath and consider your actions on the road.
Otherwise the results can be deadly - for you, your passengers and others.
There have been too many tragedies on NSW roads during the holiday period.

Police are targetting speeding, drink driving, and seatbelt and helmet offences.
Double demerit-point penalties will continue until midnight Monday. The penalties will also be applied over the Anzac Day long weekend.

All motorists should remember to drive with caution all year around, not just during the holiday periods.
