The gym entered three teams with one team finished third overall.
On CFSoHi team one was David Miller (coach), Rod Johnston, Megan Drapalski and Amanda Marsden.
CFSoHi team two was Mark Eagles, Rachel Eagles, Tatum Slogget and Gavin Wise and team 3 was Dallas McInerney, Matt Dulhunty, Jane Stratton and Maddie Midson.
Workout one was combined with workout two. The teams had 12 minutes in which each team member needed to row 300m and then complete 25 thrusters.
The weight for the thrusters was 15kg for girls and 20kg for boys.
After that with the time remaining one male and one female had to find their one rep max squat clean.
Drapalski achieved the heaviest female clean in the open division with a personal record of 80kg. Workout three was a seven minute AMRAP (as many reps as possible) of 10 wall balls (6kg for girls and 9kg for guys), 10 box jump overs and 10 ground to overhead with a weight of 35kg for girls and 50kg for boys.
Each team member had to take turns and tag the next team member to see how many rounds they could achieve in seven minutes.
The top five teams of the day advanced to the final and Team CFSoHi one was one of the five teams that qualified.
The workout was a 15 minute capped event with four different sections to complete.
Each team member selected a section to do and each section consisted of 12, then nine then six repetitions of two different movements.
Miller chose power cleans (60kg) and hand stand push ups, Marsden chose deadlifts (65kg) and box jumps and Drapalski had overhead squats (30kg) and pistols (one legged squats).
Johnston finished up on thrusters (45kg) and pull ups.
The team finished third in the event and third overall for the day.
CFSoHi coach Naomi Benedetti said it was a fantastic effort, especially for Marsden who was competing in her first Cross Fit competition.
"The majority of our team members competed for the very first time and had a great day," she said.
