Team leader Vanessa Beasley is a breast cancer survivor while Karen Johnson has lost her mother to cancer.
Another team member Erin Castle's mum survived bowel cancer.
"All of us have had it in our lives so it's important to all of us," Mrs Castle said.
"When you get down to the relay and you're doing the survivors walk, everybody ends up in tears. It's really emotional."
Three of this year's team members took part in Relay for Life two years ago and will be prepared for a full on 24 hours.
The team has so far raised close to $4000 and hopes to hit $10,000.
Team Cure Cuties will have face painting, a colouring competition and a ball pass competition running at the event.
A fundraising night will also be held at Mittagong RSL this Friday from 7pm.
Tickets will be $35 per person and includes cocktail style food plus entertainment.
Solo artist Kristen Town and comedian Shayne Richards will both perform on the night.
