The one-day cooking class covered everything from the classic roast to a taste of Thai cuisine, Italian and an apple and butterscotch dessert.
Mr Jansz said he was French-inspired when he started cooking but over time he included a variety of flavours.
"In Australia we're more playful and experimental," he said.
This approach was reflected in the collection of recipes each class attendee got to take home with them.
The day included a tour of the Jansz farm where different kinds of farming were explained including patio and urban growing, greenhouses and orchards before students returned to the kitchen for tastings and tips.
The class took place in the very same kitchen that Mr Jansz filmed his TV show segments in, including mirrors that reflected the kitchen bench for his avid students.
"We'll possibly run seasonal classes," Mr Jansz said.
"So this was autumn and we'll run one at the change of the season."
