The Triple Zero Challenge next Wednesday, April 23 will attract some big names and be a fun family day.
Members of the police, ambulance, Fire and Rescue, RFS and the SES will be on hand to watch the continuous cricket.
This will include Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione, Acting Commissioner Jim Smith of SES and Acting Commissioner Rob Rogers from RFS.
The event will help raise funds to keep the doors of the Highlands Youth Hub open which is in danger of closing due to grant funds expiring this June 30.
This will also mean a reduction in support services offered to youth in the area.
The Highlands Youth Hub is run by the Highlands Community Centre and was extensively renovated in 2013 to include a film editing suite, commercial kitchen and space for youth groups.
While the building is provided rent-free by Wingecarribee Council, the charities using the facility are unable to cover operating costs such as internet, electricity and garbage collection.
The venue is currently used by a variety of different charities that offer classes, counselling and a safe and supportive place for teenagers.
There will be plenty of action and activities on the oval including a rock wall, air-brush tattoos and films by the youth of the Highlands will screen in the Bradman Museum cinema.
Another highlight will be the emergency services mascot challenge at midday.
The cricket will run between 10am and 5pm, with an official welcome held at 12.30pm involving Comm Scipione, Bradman executive director Rina Hore and an explanation of the role of the Youth Hub by Allen Cuppit.
The Highlands community are invited to attend the event and show their support.
