About 1.50am, a vehicle being driven by the male was travelling Berrima Road, near Brookdale Road, when it crashed into a power pole.
The driver was trapped for sometime due to concerns over live power lines, restricting access for emergency services.
The power supply was isolated while the teenager was removed from the wreckage.
He was taken by ambulance to Throsby Park where he was then airlifted to Liverpool Hospital with what’s believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
