More than 1000 people made their way through the gates to watch some of the country’s best riders, bulls and broncos.
In the main event, PBR rider Ben Jones took out the top spot.
Jones, who returns to the America circuit on Wednesday, was cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd.
Moss Vale Rodeo Association president Kevin Tangy said it had been a successful event.
“It went really well. We had a good crowd and talking to different people they really liked it. We can only make it bigger and better next year,” he said.
“Ben Jones has been tremendous to us and it’s great to have him support us. He brought a lot of the top riders.”
Jones passed up an opportunity to ride in a PBR event in Victoria on Saturday night to be a part of the Moss Vale Rodeo which was blessed with blue skies and sunshine.
Local bull riders Harry Ash, Ben Tangye, Adam Hincher and Tom Gilvary all competed in the novice bull riding event.
Tangye said they all rode well but failed to get a place.
