The team will take part in the Australian School Boys Championship to held in Canberra commencing Sunday, June 23 and end with a finals day on Friday, June 28.
All games will be played at the West Belconnen ground.
The Moss Vale club and committee congratulated Angel on selection for the second year in a row and know that he will do himself, his family and the club proud when he takes the field against the sides at the carnival.
Angel is a member of the 2013 under-16As side and started playing rugby league with the club at the age of five for the under-6s back in 2003.
He became a League Safe officer in 2011 and he helps out with every team he can and this season has started as a League Safe for the club’s under-7s.
Angel has also exceeded at club and representative levels with a number of honours to his name.
He has won club best and fairest award in 2012, team best and fairest awards in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, and club representative awards in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
He has represented South Coast PSSA Rugby League Squads in under-11s and Opens in 2009 and 2010 and Opens NSW PSSA rugby league squad in 2010.
In 2010 he was a part of the under-12Bs premiership team and received the player of the day award in the under-16Bs grand final and Group 6 JRL under-12B player of the year.
Angel represented Group 6 JRL in under-13s and under-14s in 2011 and 2012 and won Group 6 JRL under-13s encouragement award.
In 2012 he was part of the West Tigers under-14s development squad, South West Sydney Academy of Sport (SWSAS) Chairman’s Award nominee and Western Suburbs Harold Matthews training squad.
Also in 2012 he was a NSW Combined Independent Schools under-15s representative at 14 years of age at Australian School Boys Tournament in Darwin.
This year he was a South West Sydney Academy of Sport (SWSAS) Harold Matthews representative at 15 years of age.
