An array of interests and ages will be catered for on the day, from art exhibitions to classic car competitions and displays of vintage machinery.
First stop is the Annual Fettlers Heritage Art Prize Exhibition in the Fettlers Shed Art Gallery, featuring paintings, sculpture, ceramics and other artworks inspired by Robertson and surrounding villages.
The exhibition will be open from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Car buffs can head over to Robertson Heritage Railway Station, where there will be a vintage and classic car display.
Marion Harvey, who runs the station, said that as a rule "we're a good venue for a vintage car day".
"The station itself is a National Trust building," she said.
On show will be pre-war to collectable cars of all makes and models, including classic Jaguars and sports cars.
A highlight of the day will include a scale model dragster with a twin turbine jet engine, capable of speeds up to a few hundred kilometres an hour.
Last year, 120 cars entered the show and it's hoped this year's turn-out will be more than 100.
Those present will be able to vote in the People's Choice awards for Best in Show, Best British/American/Australian/Europeand classic cars 30 years and over and Commercial/pick-ups.
There will be special prizes for the most original unrestored vehicle. The competition is open to all clubs and individual car owners from 9.30am with an entry fee of $10.
President Steve Carey said: "Sometimes we get people from the south coast or Sydney. We also invite people who own a classic car and don't belong to a club.
"Anyone who has a vintage car, we'd love to see come along."
General admission to the car show, from 11am, is free.
After inspecting the cars you can climb aboard the Cockatoo Run Heritage Diesel locomotive.
The loop train return trip from Robertson to Moss vale will leave Robertson at 12.30pm and return about 3.30pm.
Tickets are an affordable $10 adults, $5 concession, $25 family.
The day will also feature a display of restored and functioning vintage machinery in the Robertson Common grounds to celebrate the National Trust Heritage Festival's theme of "Innovation and Invention".
Mr Carey said the displays would include "beautiful old brass and steam-operated farm machinery, windmills, old pumps and pre-war tractors".
The station itself will have a kiosk and souvenir shop open to raise funds for the not-for-profit organisation and the volunteers who keep the station in top shape.
So take a step back in time to the Robertson Heritage Railway Station this weekend, there's plenty to see and do.
