Greens MP Lee Rhiannon and Wingecarribee Shire Councillor Malcolm Murray joined community members in expressing concern over the noise, traffic and environmental effects of the complex.
National Parks Association chairman Tony Hill said lead leaching into the water catchment would create “a toxic legacy that will go on for hundreds of years.”
