Lloyd says thanks

THIS is an open letter to the good folk of the Southern Highlands and those others who live further afield.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank all the customers:

First those of you who shopped at the nursery within Bunnings, Moss Vale, between June 9, 2005, and May 11, 2008, and subsequently those of you who shopped at the nursery at Magnet Mart, Bowral, between September 20, 2008, and February 2, 2012.

I hardly knew the difference between blood and bone and cow manure; it was largely through your goodwill, humour and willingness to share your plant knowledge and gardening experiences that I not only know the difference, but also so much more.

Since meeting you I have done my best to remember everything you told me.

And integral to my growth in knowledge, I wish to acknowledge Ms Leanne Williams (Bunnings) and Ms Lynette Hatton (Magnet Mart) for their willingness to share their horticultural expertise with me - no matter how many times I asked the same question.

Now that Magnet Mart has closed, I wish to advise you all that I have moved to a position at Welby Garden Centre and look forward to seeing you all.

Cheers everyone.

LLOYD HOPKINS
