THE announcement that Roma Dix has received a Medal of the Order of Australia has pleased so many in Mittagong and across the Southern Highlands.
The Playhouse and community facility right in the centre of town is testimony to Roma's endeavours to keep a community asset in community hands.
Her leadership with the team that gives the gift of music to visually disabled children over many years is not widely known.
May she play on with her musical gifts for many years. Well deserved Roma!
