Classical concert to help Aussie team

DANIEL Rumsey will captain the Australian team at the fourth Down Syndrome World Swimming Championships in Portugal in December but he needs the Highlands help to raise the funds required to go to the Iberian Peninsula.

On September 6 his brother Andrew will be presenting a concert at Oxley College featuring fellow students from the Australian National

University School of Music. The six talented pianists and three vocalists will be performing works from Scriabin, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and other well-known composers.

At an Invitation swim meet in Taiwan last year, and swim meets throughout this year Daniel, has continued to set new world records in both short course and long course events.
