There is an old saying: 'Never look a gift horse in the mouth' and Southern Highlands horse trainer Rick Worthington is well and truly living up to that. With three horses ready to run in three different major races in the coming week he has well and truly hit the big time.
Next weekend one of his two year olds, Inspired Choice will run at Randwick, while this weekend the current favourite of his stable Star of Louie will also run at Randwick in the prestigious Roman Counsel event.
A third prize-winning horse will compete later in the week at Canterbury.
All three events are lead-in events for this year's Golden Slipper.
