Robertson/Burrawang made a scorching start to the first grade two-day cricket competition against Hill Top at Chater Oval on Saturday when two of their young guns scored maiden first grade centuries.
Batting first, Robertson/Burrawang set Hill Top the target of 339 in the first innings - a target made more daunting when, at stumps, Hilltop were 5 for 18 at stumps.
Nathan Wright and Daniel Cox both scored their maiden first grade centuries during the first innings.
Robertson/Burrawang captain Aaron De Jager said he was very happy with his side's display.
"It was a good strong performance and it was great to see us score some runs," he said.
"Fifteen-year-old Nathan Wright scored his first century in a senior game. He finished on 114."
"Daniel Cox also batted well. He is 19 years old and also scored his first century in the seniors - finishing off on 107."
Robertson/Burrawang were all out for 339 and with 30 minutes left in the days play, Hill Top's batsmen were in trouble at five for 18 at stumps. Bill Garvutt did most of the damage, taking three wickets for four runs off four overs.
De Jager finished the day with the figures of one for 14 while Dave Gibbits had the figures of one for none.
