Three strikes in five minutes enabled Robertson to claim a remarkable victory in the men's second grade hockey grand final at Bundanoon on Saturday.
The goal flurry - which came in the final 10 minutes of the decider - enabled Robo to overturn a 1-0 deficit and then put the premiership out of reach of the Mittagong Tigers.
Barry Donovan, captain David Loxton and Tom Pearse were the scorers.
After a goalless first half Dean Ecclestone gave Mittagong the lead 10 minutes into the second stanza, but the Lions were put under increased pressure as the match progressed.
The Spuddies' equaliser followed a succession of short corners and Robertson's second came less than two minutes later before a field goal from Pearse sealed the win.
"Mittagong's goal was against the run of play and we dominated the rest of the second half," said an elated Loxton post-match.
"We knew we had a couple of goals in us if we just settled down and took our opportunities."
In the other lower grade grand finals, Moss Vale were victorious in men's third grade, while Bowral Wallabies, Burrawang and Mittagong Leopards were the winners in the women's deciders.
Moss Vale had to cling on after scoring three first half goals before allowing Sports back into the game in their encounter.
Darren Tickner and Graeme McAndrew scored within a minute of one another to give Mossie an early 2-0 lead and when Tickner added his second just before the break the final result seemed predictable.
But Sports, the premiers in six of the past eight seasons, lifted in the second stanza with Geoff Alcock and Frank Van Haeff each scoring - the latter with a minute left on the clock to force Moss Vale onto the back foot in a tense finish.
"Sports have beaten us from 3-0 down many times over the years, so we knew it was not over at half time and they sure came back strongly," said Mossy captain Steve Daley.
In women's grade 2A Bowral Wallabies beat Grevilleas 2-1 with the winner coming just five minutes from the final whistle.
Each team's goalkeeper saved a penalty stroke in the close tussle before Dimity Gardiner added to Cathy Cuppitt's first half strike to seal Bowral's victory.
In grade 2B Burrawang led 2-1 at halftime and added another goal midway through the second period for a comfortable win over Moss Vale.
Lesley Daley scored Burrawang's first and Gwenda Stephenson added the other two.
Mittagong Leopards overcame a one-goal half time deficit to triumph 3-1 over Robertson in third grade after Jennifer Savage's equaliser was followed by goals from Tina Whiffen and Lynne Cavanagh.
