Old enemies faced-off this week when the U19's Southern Highlands team played the South African U19's Foresters at Bradman oval.
The South African team is on its annual Australian tour, facing local teams throughout NSW and Victoria in the last three weeks, including Bathurst, University of NSW and Nowra.
They also spent time watching the Boxing Day test in Melbourne during their tour.
But this week was the Southern Highlands' turn to face the Foresters.
Playing on the hallowed Bradman oval, the South Africans' unbelievable batting effort sent the local boys running in all directions.
They followed it up with excellent bowling that tore apart the Southern Highlands' batting line-up, winning the game by a solid 66 runs.
Although the Highlands side went down to the visitors, they put up a good fight, with locals Isaac Loader (28), Corey Webber (28), and Matt Arnull (26), rivalling the big-hitting South Africans.
