Highlands United have made the grand final- breaking an 18-year drought, after a hard fought win over Olympic on Saturday.
But the victory did not come easily.
Despite the best efforts of United's strikers the Southern Highlands side looked to be in a lot of trouble with Olympic sneaking in a goal 10 minutes before half time.
United were unable to match the goal and continued to struggle against a top form defence. Scorching conditions and the loss of star player James Donlan to a groin injury, further hampered them.
United's coach Craig Ash was forced to juggle positions around, leaving the team shorthanded and uncomfortable in unfamiliar roles.
They went into the second half empty handed and even Ash admitted things looked very grim for them at half time.
"I just thought we were finished at this point," he said.
