Oxley College student Duncan Shrimpton could be on his way to Rugby glory, after being selected for Rugby Union scholarship in the UK.

The year 10 student will complete his final two years of school at Bromsgrove School in the midlands of England.

Duncan leaves Australia on Sunday to begin his first school term next week.

He said he was overjoyed with his selection.

"I'm really, very happy about it," he said.

"This is a huge opportunity for me - of course it's still a bit daunting to be moving overseas and all."
