A Neil Howe-inspired Bowral charged into the men's first grade hockey grand final after they put Robertson to the sword on Saturday.
Howe banged home all three of Bowral's goals and the Blues will now face the mighty Mittagong in next Saturday's season finale.
And if they reproduce the same form, they will be in with a chance to inflict Mittagong's first defeat in 2004.
Bowral player-coach Ron Allen said he was always confident of upsetting Robbo, even after his side had struggled in recent weeks.
"We changed a few things that worked well for us and everyone turned up ready to play," he said. "The guys knew what was at stake and combined really well throughout the game. It was good to see and I'm sure we'll have a real crack next week."
While it was Howe who got his name on the scoresheet, his forward partner Wade Bedson was just as instrumental in the win.
"It was good to have him (Wade) back and those two played really well together," Allen said.
