Riley claims five wickets in two-day competition

31 Oct, 2001 09:11 AM

A five-wicket haul by Cyrus Riley saw Tudor House win one of the two games they played at Bradman Oval last week.

As part of the junior school boys competition, Tudor House met Waverley on Thursday and Barker College on Friday.

However after a great batting and bowling effort against Waverley the previous day, Tudor House were dismissed for 110 against Barker.

Tudor House coach Bruce Little said the players were elated that they had the chance to play on Bradman Oval.

“For a young person it’s the pinnacle of their career,” he said.

“Some cricketers never get the opportunity to do so and theses boys have.

“After being together for two years the boys combine well to come away with a win.

Best players for Tudor House were Cyrus Riley, Henry Williams and Jono Riley.
