Other soccer grand finals go down to the wire

Women's Division - 1 (Grand Final):

Rebelettes (2) def. Woftam (1)

Goal scorers -

Rebelettes: Fiona Boyd (1), Lauren Bosman (1)

Woftam: Lianne McKenzie (1)

This match was tied 1-1 at end of full time. 5 minutes of 'golden goal' extra time each way still did not find a winner. Lauren Bosman scored the winning ‘golden goal' 3 minutes into a second set of extra time where the goal keepers leave the field. Rebelettes won their 3rd straight grand final

Women's Division - 1 ‘Top Goal Scorer' for 2002/03 was shared by Fiona Boyd & Nicole McNamara who both scored 16 goals each.

Womens Division - 2 (Grand Final):

Cardiac Arrest (2) def. FIFA (1)

Goal scorers -

Cardiac Arrest: Renee Eccleston (1), Caryl Hurst (1).

FIFA: Brooke Sergent (1).

Cardiac Arrest won their 3rd straight grand final.

Womens Division - 2 ‘Top Goal Scorer' for 2002/03 was Angela Fitzgerald on 17 goals.

Womens Division - 3 (Grand Final):

Gerri's Angels (2) def.Exeter Ladies (1)

Goal scorers -

Gerri's Angels: Yolande Isedale (1), Roz Arnold (1).

Exeter Ladies: Karen Hoskins (1)

This match was tied 1 - 1 at full time. Roz Arnold scored the winning ‘golden goal' in the last seconds of extra time.

Womens Division - 3 ‘Top Goal Scorer' for 2002/03 is Karen Hoskins with 10 goals for the season.

Men's Division - 1 (Grand Final):

Port-O-Call (4) def. Punishers (3)

Goal scorers -

Port-O-Call: Kris Spilarewicz (1), Nigel Tasker (2), Steve Ash (2).

Punishers: Scott Friedewald (2), Chris Soderborg (1).

This match was the closest between these two teams in the last 3 seasons. Unfortunately the young guns could not quite match the lads from Port-O-Call.

Mens Division - 1 ‘Top Goal Scorer' for 2002/03 is shared by Tim Stone, Scott Friedewald & Steve Ash who each scored 15 goals.

Men's Division - 2 (Grand Final):

Enretech (2) def. Norms (1)

Goal scorers -

Enretech: Paul Schmalz (1), Daniel Parmenter (1).

Norms: Bobby McLaren (1).

The Norms gave the normally strong Enretech an early scare by scoring first in the fifth minute. Goal scoring machines Parmenter & Schmalz eventually got their act together to seal the match.

Mens Division - 2 ‘Top Goal Scorer' for 2002/03 was Daniel Parmenter with 22 goals.
