These events are for both track and road bikes as well as junior rider events.

It is great to see so many junior riders coming along to start their racing legs in an environment where family and friends can watch everything from the side of the track - as well as have a fun time.

The first event this week was a 10 lap scratch with nine riders on track bikes.

Winner of the race was Richard Volle-bregt, who held off Justin Tomlinson with Lynne Vaughan in third.

Eight riders on road bikes finished their 10 laps with Richard taking first, Mark Glenn second and Richard Easter finished third.

The five juniors finished with Joshua and Caleb Ewan taking first and third, and Alex Tomlinson splitting the pairr.

Flying 200s followed with juniors: Joshua 16.07, Alex 16.93, Caleb 17.07, Marcus Moorschalk 19.95 and Joshua A 35.01.

Track bike results were: Richard 13.50, Justin 13.74, Peter Wheeler 14.96, Carsten Prien 15.10, Don Talintyer 15.48, Harry Koster 16.10, Lynne 16.46 and Sandra 16.50.

Road bike results were: Richard Easter 13.80, Andrew Glenn 14.14, Mark Glenn 14.30, Michael Krebs 14.46, Peter Cape 15.86 and Geoff Duxfield 16.10.
