Mossy, Hill Top hit the road

27 Oct, 2005 03:35 PM
The Moss Vale and Hill Top first grade cricket teams will have a tough task ahead of them when they head south to Goulburn for their matches this Saturday.

Last year's premiers Moss Vale will be looking to get back into the winning way when they take on Workers at Kenmore Oval, after having two of their first three games of the season washed out, including last weekend's match.

In the only match they've played this season, Moss Vale narrowly lost to Bowral United by five runs, after displaying a dominant bowling attack to reduce Bowral to just 102 runs.

Due to the lack of match play, Moss Vale could have a challenge ahead of them against a buoyant Workers side, who have secured two wins against Robertson/ Burrawang and Goulburn counterparts Coolavin this year and one loss against Tully Park.

In the other Highlands/Goulburn match being played south this week, Hill Top will have a battle on their hands when they take on an in-form Tully Park.
