Moss Vale were almost certain to defeat Robertson/Burrawang in their Southern Lands two-day cricket match, played over Saturday and Sunday at Chater Oval.
At the time of publication, Moss Vale were 3/181 with plenty of batting time left as they chased Robertson's 227.
For Robertson, Daniel Cox top scored with 80 runs, while Nathan Wright scored 33 and Will Dobson scored 27.
The wickets were shared around the bowlers, with Troy Brown taking 2/41, Michael Bull 1/4, Scott Shepperd 1/47. Luke Bettram 2/46 and Duncan Urqhart 2/30.
However, it was a strong partnership between Bull and Andrew Canestiari that set the platform for a probable Moss Vale victory.
Bull scored 71 runs at better than a run a ball while Canestiari was 70 not out at the time of publication.
For Robertson, Nathan Wright had taken one wicket and Aaron De Jager had taken two.
Moss Vale captain Michael Bull said that the day in the field on Saturday was a good test for his team heading into the finals.
"It was good for our bowlers to have a good day out prior to the finals," Bull said.
