Saturday was the third round of the Country Golf Club Championships generously sponsored by Clive Harwood and the top seeds will now play head to head in a reserved seeded draw in the final round next Saturday.

Ken Rucker returned to good form to take out A-grade on a countback with 75 off the stick for a nett 66 to edge out Wayne Knapp who also returned to form with a 71/66. Chris Murchie was the scratch winner with 72. The cream certainly rises to the top at the business end of the championships and the A-grade seeds are Mick Bale 222, Chris Murchie 224, Alan Bray 225, Will Hardman 230, Todd Spence, Martin Coffey, A.C. Bell, Steven Dodd. Please confirm all places and details at the pro shop.

Brice Morgan won B-grade with a superb 75/62 from Peter Rowan with 82/65. Scratch winner was Geoff Alcock with 78. The B-grade seeds are Brice Morgan 261, Chris Hovey 249, Paul McInness 250, Tom Rowan, Glen Champion, Graham Eke, Arthur Robinson, Ron Druery, Craig Rowan, Dennis Valentine. C-grade was won by Dennis Hunt on a countback with 98/68 from Barry Murdoch. Scratch winner was Allen Delamont with 92. The C-grade seeds are Shane Godbolt 261, Paul Knock 277, Peter Degnan 280, Jim Cranney 281, Don Browne, Nathan Bradbury, Andrew Bell, Arthur Saunderson.
