The Mittagong Cricket Club has held very successful registration days resulting in the club nominating four junior and three senior teams for the 2005/2006 season.
The club will definitely field under-10, 12 and 14 teams and hopefully an under-16 team, providing a few more players can be found.
There are still vacancies in all junior teams and anyone interested in being a coach or manager would be most welcome. The under-12s, with Bill Lotter coaching, is expected to be a strong side.
The number of senior teams will increase from two to three.
Most of last year's second grade premiership runners-up will be backing up again with Adam Sargood handing over the captaincy to left-arm quick bowler, Justin Kelly.
While the team will miss leading run-getter Greg Badcock, the club welcomes back prolific scorer, Paul Jones.
