The Bowral Blacks Junior Rugby Club annual gala day for their mini’s (age from 7’s through to 10’s) was a great success recently

More than 2,000 people flocked to the Highlands from Sydney, Goulburn and surrounding areas for the event.

Thanks to the fine weather (it rained at the last match of the day) a great day was had by both parents and children.

The club would like to thank all those responsible for organising the Gala Day and to our major sponsors Bowral Shoe Store, Brafels, McMillian Real Estate and Toyworld and a thank you to Highlands Newsagency, Port-O-Call, Country Accent for their donation to the Fathers Day Raffle which was held on the day.

This will be an annual event and State Member for Southern Highlands Peta Seaton agreed that it was a great promotional exercise for the Highlands.
