The Moss Vale Soccer club's summer competition came to a climatic end this week with all the clubs squaring off in grand final games.
The grand finals saw some surprising wins, shock losses and closely fought contests.
The women's first division saw perennial grand finalists Bullfrogs take on the undefeated FIFA.
The Bullfrogs have played in the first division grand finals for the last six years but have only taken out one.
Eager to increase their tally, they dug deep against the favoured FIFA but eventually went down 2-0.
The result could have easily gone the other way, with the ball frequently jumping from one end of the field to the other, with defenders from both teams working overtime.
Veteran side Hozza's Return were firm favourites to take out top honours in the Men's first division grand final.
They took on a less experienced Napoleon Dynamite, who had steadily worked their way through the season, scoring an easy win over the under-manned B.Y.E team in the semi finals 10-1.
Things were tight for most of the game until Hozza's took the lead and kept on top for the rest of the match, winning 4-1.
Despite the point difference, the two sides were very evenly matched and most of the game was stale-mated by skillful attacks and counter attacks.
In the end, the more experienced Hozza's Return proved too good for their opponents.
