Dragons set to knock off Thirlmere

27 Jul, 2007 10:31 AM
Dragons' rugby league coach Trevor Schodel said his side is determined to knock over defending premiers Thirlmere this Sunday at home.

Thirlmere have been struggling for form in the last two weeks, drawing with Oakdale and then surrendering a 16-point lead to lose to Goulburn last week.

The Dragons have won two games on the bell in previous weeks but will need to come out of the gates firing if they expect to beat the Roosters.

Schodel said Thirlmere are one of the few sides that does not respect the resurgent Dragons and it is high time the Dragons showed them they deserved to be rated with the best in the Group 6 competition.
