The Moss Vale Dragons Rugby League Club held what could only be described as a successful meet the coaches and social get-together on Tuesday night at Moss Vale's Community Oval.
More than 30 players attended the night, with at least five-new faces making their debut at the Dragons' training.
The Moss Vale club is re-entering the first grade competition in 2005 after a year-long hiatus from the top grade.
They competed in the reserve grade competition last year and finished just outside the top five.
First grade coach Matt Burke said he was very pleased with the pre-Christmas turnout.
"There are a couple of new faces here," Burke said.
"It's good to see everyone here and the numbers speak for themselves at the end of the day."
Under-18 coach Peter Burgoyne said he was also very happy with the numbers he had present.
"We had over 10 under-18s here and there are more to come with graduating under-16 players," Burgoyne said.
"All of our under-18 players from last year fronted up, with some now moving into the grade sides, but we expect a few more to come as the season gets closer."
