Mittagong Lions Under-18s coach Randle Loughton said his side can not afford another start like the one they had against Mt Annan in last weekend's elimination final if they are to beat Goulburn in their major semi-final this weekend.
The Lions season looked to be over last weekend, trailing 20-6 at half time before a remarkable second half performance saw them score 20 unanswered points to steal the game in the final stages, 26-20.
"We can't afford a start like we had on Sunday against Goulburn," Laughton said.
