Championship dreams after Phillip Island wipeout

Mittagong 125 champion Brent Rigoli is in contention for his first Australian GP 125 championship win despite not completing a lap in round four of the series at Phillip Island.

Rigoli is currently sitting in fifth spot in the championship standings, and with two rounds still remaining in the series, the 17-year-old maintains he can still earn enough points to claim his first title.

"Phillip Island was a forgettable round but I've been racing consistently and I feel I'm still in contention," he said.
