The big-hearted Hindmarsh boys did their bit for country footy this week with a flying foray into the Highlands.
Robertson's favourite sons strapped on the boots for a stack of clinics as well as tackling some tough questioning from their wide-eyed fans.
The schoolkids from Bowral and Moss Vale schools resembled more of a media scrum as they fired questions at the bemused big league brothers.
Among the hard hitting interrogation included: Do you eat bacon and eggs before a big game? Do you prefer Maccas or Burger King? Do you like being tackled by Willie Mason? What happens if you have to go to the toilet on the field? And the critical one, what's with your hair Nathan?
The talented duo came to town as part of the statewide Qantaslink program to help foster and promote rugby league in country areas.
The visit included skills clinics, giveaways and talks at Moss Vale Public School, Moss Vale High School, St Paul's Primary and St Thomas Aquinas as an open session at Community Oval on Monday night.
"It's been really funny talking to the kids and great to be able to teach them a bit about the game," Nathan Hindmarsh said.
"We wanted to put the emphasis on having fun and I think the kids have enjoyed it.
"We've both been impressed by the standard and raw talent of some of them though and it's something we'd be more than happy to do again some time."
The Hindmarsh brothers begun their careers at the tender age of 12 for the Robertson Spuddies.
Country Rugby League development officer Kurt Robertson said the initiative was part of a push to promote the game to areas like the Highlands.
"It's been outstanding and really embraced by the community," he said.
"The kids just love it and it's important to get high profile players out to these areas to help promote the game."
NSW and Australian rep Nathan will again line up for the Parramatta Eels this season while Country Origin rep Ian will pack in with the Canberra Raiders for the first time.
