Bowral United will be hoping for a re-play of last year's grand final when they face Goulburn Soldiers at Kenmore Oval this weekend.
According to Bowral United player Stuart Macpherson it will be the toughest game so far for the defending premiers.
"As far as I know Soldiers have kept the majority of their players from last season which made them such a strong team," Macpherson said.
"I've also heard that they have one or two top players returning to their side after long absences."
Macpherson believes that Soldiers is a highly skilled team that Bowral United will have to work hard to beat.
"They have a solid base of players. Both Justin Rowlings and Graham Lees are extremely dangerous with the bat," Macpherson said.
"They've also got representative players like opening pace bowlers Mick Webber and Brad Smith"
When Bowral United clashed with Soldiers in last year's final they batted first and were all-out for 275 runs. Bowral United then bowled out Soldiers for 175.
A sizeable amount of Bowral's batting total was contributed by last season's star batsman Nathan Cameron, who has now left the team along with five other players.
"Everyone will say that take Nathan Cameron out of our side and we won't win against Soldiers. I beg to differ," Macpherson said.
Macpherson plays down the changes in Bowral United's line up and says that Bowral United is more than up to the challenge of playing against Soldiers.
"Although we're a considerably different side this year, we still have a very good line-up of players and I'm confident that we can take them on."
