The fifth annual event to commemorate that great club member and one of nature's gentlemen, Bruce Fraser, was an outstanding success in many ways. But tinged with sadness for those who remember his unfortunate accident, resulting in the loss of a wonderful friend.

Friends and relatives, bowlers and non bowlers filled the clubhouse to overflowing.

Many thanks to Bruce's son Anthony for presiding on the day, and for this generous contributions in support of the club.

There were scores of winners in the various raffles, but the main prize for the best bowlers was a popular win by Tammy Hayward, Maryanne Lewis and Skipper Bill Hayward.

Congratulations to the winners, and once again a hearty vote of thanks to our hard-working and efficient chairman of the match committee, Bill Harris.
