The group play off for the Wolinski Shield was played at Bowral between Margaret Simpson's Team & M Murphy's team from Warilla.

With scores very close and even on 22 ends, the Bargo team managed to get that necessary shot to win the game and the right to the state play off in Sydney.

Club Triples were continued in August with Margaret Simpson's team scoring a strong win over A Flower - V Pigram's team.

Raffle Winner: Lorna Hodge and Alex Kooyman won the voucher.

Gala Day was held with reduced numbers but everyone enjoyed the day.

Winners were: V Mulholland, J Delisen & V Pigram. Runners Up were R King, Keith Males & Leo Andreazza

Raffle was won by lucky Leo, next Gala Day will be held on September 16.

The final of club triples was played August 6 with L Roughan, L Hodge & Margaret Simpson having a win over V Mullholland, P Maine & V Pigram, well done to both teams.

On August 13 our annual wattle blossom day was held with visitors from Oak Flats, Towradgi, Moss Vale - Bowral, Robertson, Goulburn Women's - Mittagong Picton Bowling Club and our own members.

A spider was run for our local fire brigade and raised $58.

The well stocked stall and continuous raffle kept visitors interested but after playing for a few ends, bowls were called off due to the cold.

All enjoyed the lovely hot soup made by President Val's husband Terry.
