Ashes revenge

29 Dec, 2006 09:39 AM
The MCC (Lords) XI, which will include England's 2005 Ashes winning captain Michael Vaughan will play the Foundation XI as part of their three-week tour of Australia next Friday.

And another English touring team, the Prestons Cricket Club–– a 124-year-old club from Hertfordshire, will be playing the Bradman Foundation XI on Monday, January 8.

"We are also hosting the Australian Parliament Cricket Club XI on January 4, so it's set to be a great few days of sport at Bradman Oval," Bradman Foundation director Rina Hore said.

"We encourage families to come and enjoy this first-class cricket in our beautiful village green environment."
