Robertson’s Illawarra first grade men’s hockey team’s 4-1 loss to Albion Park at Welby on Sunday and Fairy Meadows 2-1 win over Bowral has seen them edge out Robertson for fourth spot.
Mittagong suffered their worst defeat of the season after they were annihilated 14-1 by second-placed Uni down the coast.
Robertson trailed 2-0 at halftime and captain Damian Gair was denied a short corner goal after hitting above the backboard.
Nigel Croke got Robertson's only score eight minutes out from time.
