A superior run-rate came to Bowral United's rescue when rain stopped play in their first grade one-day final with Goulburn Workers at Kenmore Oval on Saturday.
United were awarded the one-day trophy when rain interrupted play with six overs remaining in the final with Bowral's run rate of 4.8 ahead of Workers' run rate of 3.82.
Bowral batted first in ideal bowling conditions and scored a solid 192 off their 40 overs.
Captain Nathan Cameron top scored with 64 as United went on to set up a commanding total.
