WITH two runs off the last over to win the match, Bowral Raiders had the match within their grasp.
But the run-out of Chris Arnold ended their hopes of victory as Wingello Tigers came away with a one run win on Saturday.
With three balls to spare, Tigers skipper Phil Benson said it was "a really tight match".
Wingello made 127 with John Rolles top scoring for the Tigers.
Hayden McDuff took four wickets for Bowral and Alex Simpson picked up three.
Benson said the Tigers produced a good bowling and fielding effort to restrict them, with Ricky Martin bowling well at the death and Matthew Pike and Jesse Shanks also performing well with the ball.
"It was a really really tough match. It was a big relief for us, a team performance this time," he said.
Greg Kruger got the Raiders off to a good start with 23 and Tony Capps batted solidly for his 27.
Raiders skipper Andrew Macleod said it was a heartbreaking loss.
"We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory," he said.
"Unfortunately on this day it just wasn't to be."
