Moss Vale vs Bundanoon/Bowral
March 20 and 27, Taylor Avenue
History: Moss Vale beat Bundy/ Bowral outright in their only meeting.
Key players: Moss Vale – the undefeated minor premiers’ line-up reads like the Highlands under-16 representative team. Jack Webb is the chief destroyer with the ball, while Jordan Grey is just one of the players capable of scoring runs.
Bundy/Bowral - their opening batsmen need to stand up fearlessly to the new ball. Mitch Granger and Robert Lane put on a good stand last week and will need to do this same this match.
Comment: Moss Vale have been untested all year. The same group of players took the under-16s title last season and they look unbeatable again this year. But, Bundy/ Bowral are the competition’s Cinderella story. A few players from Bowral and Bundy were thrown together at the last minute to ensure they would get a game on Saturday mornings. Moss Vale have everything to lose in this one.

Chevalier Blue vs Moss Vale
March 20 and 27, Chevalier 1
History: Chevalier Blue beat Moss Vale, but that was back in round two.
Key players: Chevalier – this is a tough one. The team is littered with talented youngsters including Southern Zone representatives Jack Preddey and Tom Mooney. But don’t discount Tim Coenen’s contribution with bat and ball. Likewise Hugh Chivers.
Moss Vale – Novak brothers Casey and Mat play their last game in the Highlands this weekend. The talented duo’s family packed up and moved to Sydney recently so the two could go to The Hills Sports High School and futher their budding cricket careers. Watch these two to make a statement.
Comment: Wow! The most exciting final of the weekend. The two teams were separated by only one competition point throughout the season. Chev have been consistent all year, Moss Vale are the outright kings. Toss a coin, this one could go either way.
