After struggling last season, particularly with their batting, manager Bob Smith said they will want to continue their strong bowling from last year.
Despite missing a number of key players for Sunday’s match against South Coast a Croome Oval, an improved batting performance will be a big step towards winning the game.
South Coast already have three matches under their belt, but Smith knows the first game will be a challenge. They will be helped by the experience of skipper Dane Stevenson, along with Ben Staples,Cameron Belshaw and Dean Roxburgh.
Andrew Squires, 20, is another player to watch.
