Chev to make it three from three

Chev to make it three from three

31 Oct, 2008 10:35 AM
CHEVALIER’S Firsts cricket team will be out to continue their strong start to the division one ISA season when they take on Oakhill at Chevalier tomorrow.

The News Junior Game of the Week sees Chevalier, who are undefeated after two rounds and top the table, take on fifth placed Oakhill, who have won one and lost one game in their opening two fixtures.

Chevalier was on fire in their round-two 114-run win over Oxley College at Oxley on Saturday. Alex Preedey (5-5) and Sebastian Amor-Smith (3-1) decimated Oxley’s batting line-up on the turf pitch, but they may have to try different tactics on the synthetic wicket at Chevalier.

The best performing player for Chevalier will win a McDonald’s Sports Pack, which will be announced in next Friday’s News.
