Bat and ball will do all the talking

Bat and ball will do all the talking

14 Mar, 2008 08:36 AM
After a dominant regular season and then scraping through in the minor semi-final last week, Robertson-Burrawang’s first-grade cricket captain Nathan Wright said it was time to let bat and ball do the talking.

Robertson have had one of the most successful summers to date and if they can beat the Workers in tomorrow’s preliminary final at Goulburn it will set up an epic showdown with fellow Highlands’ heavyweights Bowral.

Robertson’s bowling and fielding has got them this far, but it will be their batting that determines if they book a spot in the decider at Bradman Oval on March 29.

Nathan Wright and Aaron Dejager are the only batsmen to show they can handle the pressure of tight games in recent weeks.
